a public domain Java image processing program. The movie is presented at roughly 7 fps. The smell was funky, and the compilation is tragic.

Background: The Prayer Plant is shown here exhibiting nyctitropism, a light-dependent change
in leaf postion. The leaf postion is relaxed following an osmotic evacuation of water from motor cells at the
base of the leaf stalk, and a subsequent loss of turgor pressure.
Methods:The sequence of 60 images were collected over a 10 hour
period. The movie is presented at roughly 30 frames/second.
